Polaris has announced the release of its latest industry-leading lineup of extreme performance side-by-sides, Ranger RZR XP 4 900.
January 3, 2012: The Polaris Industries Inc. has announced the introduction of the Polaris Ranger RZR XP 4 900, which is recent addition to industry-leading lineup of the company of extreme performance side-by-sides. This is the first four-passenger vehicle in a class Polaris with the information available to the customers on Polaris.com. The new model will be on the show floors in January.

With the addition of the RZR XP 4 900 in line to side-by-side Ranger RZR XP 900, Polaris offers both two as well as four passenger options to the consumers in this class. Developed to give high performance riders and expanding Polaris’ purpose-built models, the new RZR XP 4 900 is an addition to Polaris’ RZR business and complements the rest of the RZR lineup. Apart from the strong consumer demand, the U.S. Department of Defense has already ordered for militarized versions of the high performance RZR trims.
The RZR XP 4 900 is the ultimate four-passenger performance side-by-side vehicle representing hallmark of innovation of Polaris on the market. With its 88-horsepower engine providing exceptional power and acceleration, the RV is coupled with a 3-Link Trailing Arm Independent Rear Suspension, premium Walker Evans shocks and a long wheel base to provide enhanced ride quality. The engine-behind-the-seat design optimizes weight distribution of vehicle and contributes to distinctive vehicle control for riders. Further, the riding experience is enhanced by a collection of ergonomic considerations, which offered great comfort and outstanding safety for all passengers. The cost of RZR XP 4 900 is $17,999 as per U.S. MSRP.
