ATV market leader Honda has revamped the Honda Foreman TRX500 with a new from-the-ground-up design that improves the usability and the ride quality. This new model is the fifth generation heavy-duty Foreman. The latest TRX500 is available with manual or electric gear shift and features a redesigned 475cc single-cylinder engine. The higher compression ratio generates more power at lower revs, which enables the quad to pull heavy load easily. Moreover, the new fuel injection system gives instant throttle response as well as good cold-start performance.
The rear suspension with an amalgamation of a steel swing arm and single shock absorber is impressive enough to provide 174mm of wheel travel for additional comfort and controlled power generation. The shock absorbers at the front and rear are adjustable, which allows the users to adjust the level of softness and hardness depending on their riding style and the type of terrain.
The new revamped bodywork gives better protection against the mud and water to this Honda ATV. The riding position is very comfortable and the gear changing for the 5-speed transmission is slick. The handlebars are easier to turn allowing the rider to quickly respond while cornering or turning. The 2012 Foreman TRX500 AT is expected to be well equipped with the Hondamatic CVT drive and optional power steering.
Thus, the fans of the Japanese marquee Honda will not get disappointed by the new Foreman TRX500 AT. This ATV is perfectly designed to focus on the improvement in the usability and the rider comfort. Therefore, it is excellent when it comes to driveability. Thus, this 2012 ATV is truly a head turner and will live up to Honda’s legacy.
